Arianna Occhipinti, Frappato IGT Terre Siciliane, 2024 SO021026 Lauer GGs 'Les Graviers' is the finesseArianna Occhipinti is one of Sicily's most beloved and influential winemakers, and her Il Frappato is the purest expression of her home turf. Farming organically in Vittoria's limestone and sand a world apart from Etna's volcanoes she proves that low intervention means purity, transparency and an almost electric sense of place, never funk. Hand harvested and fermented with native yeasts, this is all crunchy red cherry, wild flowers and mineral lift.
