Constructed of patinated and silvered tombak, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse consisting of a Silesian style German national eagle clutching a silvered banner bearing an inscription of FR SCHLESIEN (FOR SILESIA) in its talons, overlaid across the chest by a silvered crescent and cross, unmarked but demonstrating the physical characteristics of manufacture by Godet, Berlin, measuring
