Chateau du Mourre du Tendre, Chateauneuf-du-Pape, 2010 SO051726 Breuer and NoceraMourre du Tendre is a tiny, old school Chateauneuf du Pape estate in Courthezon, farmed by the Paumel family, and its calling card is age: the Grenache here was planted in 1929 and the Mourvedre in 1967, with the prestige cuvee made from these very old vines. Vinified whole cluster in stainless steel without destemming or crushing, then aged for up to three years in concrete and finished in old foudres, this is a traditional, low intervention wine
