Multi piece construction, obverse centrepiece insignia in silver with blue, green and white enamels, reverse centrepiece in silver with blue and white enamels and bearing the monogram of Queen Isabella in silver, the centrepieces mounted to a cross shaped base in silver with red enamels on both sides, with five emanating rays between each arm of the cross and incorporating ball finials on all eight
