Bowls like this are found all over India. The best wooden parath bowls like this one are carved from a single piece of timber. This bowl is made from teak wood and is from Rajasthan. It is over 100 years old and covered with a rich patina from years of use. Lovely quality bowls like this are now less and less commonly found as many are broken or stripped of their patina.
