It is the only natural arch in the Gorge where water runs underneath it. The bridge was formed by a waterfall eroding the rock below it. When you walk a few more paces down the trail, Creation Falls can be enjoyed, complete with a sandy beach. During a warm summer day, I stood in the creek bed, sketching Rock Bridge, along with a fellow artist friend, who also sketched Rock Bridge.
