Mitutoyo 517-901-1 Granite Surface Plate Grade 1, BS 817 300x200x65mm CAL64 B1 Block pitch accuracy: Range ≤A Mitutoyo surface plate made from fine grained black granite. This material has many advantages compared to cast iron in this application, such as being non magnetic, rustless, twice as hard, non burr forming and not prone to stickiness. A granite surface plate is an essential investment for laboratories and test facilities. A granite surface plate of 600 x 600 mm can be mounted on a support stand. The stands provide a working height of 34 (0. 86m)
