Trichodiadema densum *Shrubby caudiciform Mesemb* Caudiciform Plants pup readily and form

Plants pup readily and form clumps within a year or so

The  leaves are gray green with brown pointed tips

No matter what color it is when it arrives

I expect that some pups will have the same variegation as the parent

this species will drop its leaves and regrow them at random times of the year

Trichodiadema densum *Shrubby caudiciform Mesemb* Caudiciform Plants pup readily and formTrichodiadema densum One of the only woody caudiciform Mesembs! Fairly uncommonly offered. This plant forms soft bendable branches with flaky bark and fleshy green leaves. Over time the base and the roots become large and swollen. When it gets larger you can raise the plant so that the upper parts of the roots are exposed, giving a very attractive caudiciform look (see last picture). The branches will become long and droopy, but you can prune it
