Inspired by Springs first abundance of wildflowers I wanted to create a painting which makes people happy

Wildflowers reaching tall toward the sky

I set this against this savage backdrop of twisted branches and decided to paint the flowers with delicate detail to enhance the contrast between the feral branches and the sensual beauty
