Kiss of Judas – Bourdichon Female who holds a golden chaliceThis artwork by J. Bourdichon shows Judas Iscariot betraying Jesus with a kiss while the Savior heals the ear of the high priest's servant, Malchus. The horde of soldiers, which accompanies Judas, cruelly watches as Christ is betrayed. Peter contritely puts away his sword as he sees Jesus healing the man whose ear he has cut off.
