Illinois 1944 Fiberboard License Plate Vintage Brown Wall Hanging Decor 434-799 crystal_cut_glass This vintage brass swan planterHere we have a vintage Illinois 1944 license plate made out of fiberboard and featuring the number 434 799. During the war, some states issued non metal license plates to conserve metal resources. These fiberboard plates broke down very easily in the elements and were even sometimes munched by livestock. This plate would be a neat gift for someone who lives in Illinois, souvenir to remember a trip to the state, or even as decor to an Illinois lover.
