Flower Cascade abstract I see the sorrow

I see the sorrow

Butterflies dance on the edge of my vision

Gold paint in the suggested undergrowth  creates depth and catches sunlight whilst a fine iridescent sheen in the sky glitters and suggests morning dew

The body is smoothly contoured and the woman’s face is hidden from the viewer

Inspired by the screen legend Marilyn Monroe

Flower Cascade abstract I see the sorrowFlower Cascade, oil and enamel on canvas 130 x 97 x 3 cm A cascade of pink flowers blooming on the hillside, a waterfall of colour, exuberant and bold. Butterflies dance on the spray of pink perfume. A summer delight. A Flower Cascade. Flower Cascade is full of summer sun and vibrant pink tones. Contrasting next to the pink are orange red roses which sit, nestled within the abundant flowers. Dripped and splashed paint suggest undergrowth and stems.
