Wompoo Fruit Dove Mini Painting kestrel Pseudanthias flavoguttatus — red-saddled anthiasDespite their bright colors, Wompoo fruit doves sometimes blend in as they forage for fruit among the leaves high in the forest canopy. The first signs of their presence are often simply the sound of falling fruit, or a distinctive "wompoo" call, which gives the birds their name. Pictured here in the Daintree rainforest. Original painting, acrylic on 3 x 3 inch archival cotton canvas. Wooden stand included. All artwork signed by the artist. Shipping
