Puya laxa VIPP 3-18-19 a tall scape with manyThis strange species from Bolivia could easily be mistaken for a silvery Tillandsia at first glance. A few leaved medium sized plant less than 24 inch across in a big specimen, but not full or dense. The leaves are somewhat terete and completely covered with a wool like coat of dense silvery trichomes. A good rock garden subject that will tolerate some freezing weather and full sun. Also does well potted and is one of the few nice 'collectible' Puyas.
