And finally, a vintage to properly introduce this cultivar. The name means galangal in Chinese and it pretty much sums it up! Its less candied and floral than Jiang Hua Xiang, but spicier and more herbaceous. Its aromatic and silky with well layered tannins thats more tingling than grappling.
