Vriesea pardalina DORSTENIA small growing un-Bromelia like BromeliaThis is an outstanding Brazilian species with an upright vase shape, sort of light green gray in color, and covered entirely with purple spots. The inflorescence is a silvery pink pendant feather shaped scape that hangs well below the base of the plant. Similar to the species Vr. guttata, but larger and more brightly colored. Quite rare in cultivation.
